Eureka Cross Country runners traveled to Central Burden last Thursday, September 14, where the Tornadoes all came home with hardware.
Lady Tornado sophomores Rose Buck and Britta Mongeau finished the girls varsity 5K in first and second place.
In the varsity boys 5K, Jonah Werner placed 11th and Davian Damron placed 14th.
In the junior high races, Rose Owens and Will Morris both claimed first place in the eighth grade - two mile race. Lady Tornado seventh grader McKenna McDonald placed second, in the onemile race.
Eureka will travel to Napa Walla Park for the Oxford meet this Thursday before traveling to Central Heights on September 28. Both meets are slated to begin at 4 p.m.
The Eureka Cross Country team will host their annual meet on Tuesday, October 3, at Eureka Country Club, beginning at 3:45 p.m.
