Did you get to see the Northern Lights Friday night? I forgot about them Friday night, until Saturday morning when I saw pictures on Facebook. I kept an eye out Saturday night for them, but there really wasn’t much to see.

It’s at times like this that it’s good everyone everywhere has a cell phone with a camera. (I was unsure if I wanted to say everyone has a cellphone with a camera or everyone has a camera that also makes phone calls! Hehe.) A lot of great pictures were posted online and on the news. I can remember seeing them years ago when I was a little kid. It’s mind boggling that something that happened millions of miles away on the surface of the sun can affect things here on earth.

I didn’t have a problem with any electronics on Friday, but Saturday night my Kindle Fire was acting really weird.

There were also some little pink and white flowers in my flower garden, from that seeded carpet thingy that I set out two years ago. Another group of plants are up in that area also.

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, it was determined that the president needed an armored vehicle to get around D.C. as there were fears of an attack on his life Many graduations this weekend and then another 1-2 weeks and school is out for the summer! It will soon be time to be extra cautious when driving around any town, as kids will be running, walking and riding bicycles everywhere.

When driving to Eureka the other day I noticed the roadway on the north side (westbound lane) was completely removed. It’s fascinating how they can remove half of a bridge, rebuild it, then move to the other side.

Wewillbeexperiencingthat real soon on the Cedar Creek Bridge on Kansas Highway 105 north of Toronto. Short delays with automated flaggers will be directing traffic.
