During the Tornado Awards assembly held on Tuesday of last week, Eureka junior Kimber Ptacek was recognized for her efforts in science.
Ptacek was awarded the Baush and Lomb Science Award. This award recognizes her as the junior student who has attained the highest scholastic standing in science subjects.
