Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic To Partner With Fredonia Regional Hospital

In one of the most significant events in its’ recent history, Fredonia Regional Hospital (FRH) announced that it will be merging with Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic later this year. The transition will take place on November 4, 2023 as FRH welcomes all of Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic’s providers and employees.

In one of the most significant events in its’ recent history, Fredonia Regional Hospital (FRH) announced that it will be merging with Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic later this year. The transition will take place on November 4, 2023 as FRH welcomes all of Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic’s providers and employees.

As the two organizations explored the possibilities, it quickly became clear that this would be an excellent opportunity for two strong organizations and the communities served by both. The move, which is a common scenario across the country because of the benefits it creates, will help ensure that FRH and Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic are well positioned to continue meeting the current and future healthcare needs of the region.

Drs. Morris & Hill Medical Clinic is dedicated to providing outstanding healthcare services to the region. Terry Morris, DO and Tonya Hill, MD are lifelong residents of Fredonia and have roots in the community. Founded in 2007, they have grown and expanded and today are one of the strongest organizations in the area that provide high quality physician-led care. Dr. Morris is now semi-retired but remains involved in the company they founded. In addition, two nurse practitioners, Koralyn Barkman, APRN and Margaret Matlock, APRN are part of the practice that offers a wide range of primary care services. Dr. Hill is one of the few board-certified Internal Medicine specialists in southeast Kansas. Combined they offer over 70 years of healthcare experience.

Recently recognized as one of the 2023 Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals by the National Rural Health Association, Fredonia Regional Hospital is a 25-bed city owned not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital located in Fredonia, Kansas.
