Eureka Junior High track hosted their home Invitational on Thursday, May 25. The track meet was cut short, due to inclement weather, but multiple athletes claimed hardware before the event was canceled.
As a team, the Tornadoes claimed 49 points.
Medals were awarded to the following: 8th Grade Girls: 3200 Meter Run Reata Bogle placed 5th, 19:23.55; Discuss Throw: Jersey Cox placed 1st, 58’7” and Arabella Shepherd placed 4th, 53’5”; Shot Put: Shepherd 1st, 30’ 1/4”.
7th Grade Boys: 3200 Meter Run: Tavin Austin 6th, 18:48.55; Shot Put: JaKolby Robbins 5th, 25’.
8th Grade Boys: 3200 Meter Run: Will Morris 2nd, 12:26.10; High Jump: Brody Mitchell 2nd, 4’10”; Shot Put: Jameson Stewart 4th, 37’9”.
