Treece Recognized As Community Member Of The Month

Last Thursday, April 25, Eureka resident Ariel Treece was recognized as “Community Member of the Month” for her continued efforts in serving the community.

Last Thursday, April 25, Eureka resident Ariel Treece was recognized as “Community Member of the Month” for her continued efforts in serving the community.

Treece is the second recipient of the “Community Member of the Month” honor for 2024 and will now be eligible for “Community Member of the Year,” which will be voted on by community residents in December 2024 and January 2025. She will join Isaac Boone (March recipient) on the ballot.

Treece was nominated for her efforts in informing the “Moms of Eureka Kansas” on Facebook as well as all she does for craft days, reading hours and movie nights at the Eureka Public Library.

HowTo Nominate

To nominate a “Community Member of the Month” simply send a letter with your name, the person’s name you are nominating and why you are nominating them for the honor. (Those wishing to remain anonymous can do so; but, the committee asks that your name and contact information be included in case committee members need additional information.) Letters should be sent to The Eureka Herald, PO Box 590, Eureka, KS 67045 or emailed to Robin Wunderlich at news@eu rekaherald. com. Forms are also available at The Eureka Herald, LoMar Drive-in and the City of Eureka water office. The committee is asking that nominations be submitted prior to the 15th day of the month.
