The 2024 Junior Golf Program, sponsored by the Eureka Recreation Commission and the Eureka Country Club, will begin practice Thursday, May 23 and will then practice Tuesday, May 28, Thursday, May 30 and the following Monday’s in June: 3, 10, 17 and 24. Ages 9-11 will practice from 8 to 10 a.m., ages 12-18 will practice from 10 a.m. 12 p.m.
Following are tentative tournament dates: Burlington, Thursday, June 6; Caney, Thursday, June 13; Fredonia, Thursday, June 20 and Eureka is slated to hold their annual tournament on Thursday, June 27.
The program will be accepting registration through June 1. Any boy or girl age 9 by June 1, through age 18 is eligible to play. For questions, contact Scott Hughes at 785-375-6793.
Forms were made available to students last week at Eureka USD 389 and are available at The Eureka Herald/ Shelter Insurance office located at 822 E. River St. Completed forms can be submitted to the Marshall Elementary or Eureka Junior/Senior High School office.
