Placed Third Overall At Midwest Invitational

The Greenwood County 4-H Meat Judging Teams traveled to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla., on Saturday, April 13, to compete in the 2024 Midwest Invitational Meat Judging Contest. The contest was attended by teams from Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. The Senior Team, consisting of Hannah Perrier, Addison Westerman and Cort Decker, placed 3rd in the overall contest with Hannah Perrier individually placing 9th overall.

The Senior Team, consisting of Hannah Perrier, Addison Westerman and Cort Decker, placed 3rd in the overall contest with Hannah Perrier individually placing 9th overall.

The Junior Team, consisting of Sydney Lindamood, Henry Perrier, Jorja Beeman and Henry Lindamood, finished the Junior Contest 3rd overall.

All of the 4-Hers had a great day of learning and added more valuable experience to their resumes. They placed six classes, identified 30 retail cuts, seniors gave three sets of oral reasons and juniors answered two sets of questions.
