Several local positions will appear on the August Primary and November General Election ballots and a few may be open as current officials have noted they do not intend to file again.
A primary election will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, with the following appearing on the ballots: United States House of Representatives, 4th District; State Senate, 14th District; State Representative, 13th District; District Court Judge, 13th District, 2nd & 3rd Divisions; District Magistrate Judge, 13th District, 2nd Position; County Commissioner Districts 3 & 5; County Clerk; County Treasurer; Register of Deeds; County Sheriff; County Attorney; Township Trustee & Clerk; as well as precinct committeeman and committeewoman. Those wishing to appear on the August Primary ballot must file by Monday, June 3, at 12 p.m.
