Eureka Junior High Track Competition at Madison Invitational on April 11.
Medals were awarded to the following: Varsity Girls: scored 80 points taking 4th place out of 7 teams. Sydney Lindamood: 2nd place in the 75M Hurdles with a time of 15.62. McKenna Mc-Donald: 3rd place in the High Jump with a jump of 4’ 6”; 3rd place in the 800 M Run with a time of 2:52.37. Rose Owens: 3rd place in the Long Jump with a jump of 13’ 1/2”. Arabella Shepherd: 1st place in Shot Put with a throw of 29’ 11”; 2nd place in Turbo Javelin with a throw of 54’ 4”. 4x100 Meter Relay- 1st place with a time of 1:00.46 consisting of: Brenckman, Emma Baumgartel, Amorette Guillaume, Lindamood.
4x200 Meter Relay: 1st place with a time of 2:09.25 consisting of: Owens, Lindamood, Guillaume and McDonald.
Varsity Boys: scored 69 points taking 3rd place out of 7 teams. Will Morris 2nd place in the 3200M Run with a time of 11:59.14; 3rd place in the Long Jump with a jump of 15’ 4”. Jameson Stewart: 1st place in Discus with a throw of 122’ 2”; 1st place in Shot Put with a throw of 38’ 7”; 1st place in Turbo Javelin with a throw of 99’ 8”. Travis Rice: 3rd place in the 100M Dash with a time of 13.80; 3rd place in the 200 M Dash with a time of 29.12. 4x200 Meter Relay: 3rd place with a time of 2:10.35 consisting of: Morris, JaKolby Robbins, Dylan Conard and Tate Scott.
