It doesn’t matter where you go….opinions are there.
So much conversation about the future of Eureka. About this or that…. lots and lots of talking.
But, how much doing is going on?
There are employees of the city and the county and a lot of volunteers that are spending their time trying to do something for the greater good. And, the best part about it is if you want to be involved, you too can volunteer! Be part of the future of Eureka Downs or Main Street. Attend a city council meeting, county commission meeting or school board meeting… be part of a positive change.
You know what doesn’t help the future of Eureka or the moral of the community? Complaining. Especially on Facebook.
Be better. Be positive! Not engaging in the chatter is even helpful.
Maybe the people that are making the decisions aren’t choosing the decisions you would make… there is only one way to have your opinions heard (spoiler alert…facebook isn’t involved!), say it with me…VOLUNTEER your time. Your treasure. Your praise.
