The Lady Tornado golf team began their season on Monday, August 28 with a first place finish at the Fort Scott junior varsity tournament.
Eureka finished with a four-member team score of 212.
Eureka seniors Annaliese Casper and Kate Tourelle claimed first and second place as individuals with scores of 45 and 46. Lady Tornado Keira Crisswell was 8th with a 60 and Lyndsey Escareno was 11th with a score of 61.
On Wednesday, August 30, the Lady Tornadoes hosted their annual tournament with Casper claiming second place at the varsity tournament. Casper finished the 9-hole round with a score of 48.
Also representing Eureka were Crisswell (54), scareno (56) and Tourelle (57).
The Lady Tornadoes were scheduled to travel to Sierra Hills in Andover on Tuesday of this week before traveling to Caney on September 11.
