Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club

The Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club had a joint meeting with the Fancy Mustangs on March 3. The meeting was called to order by Fancy Mustang’s Sutton Nelson. The roll call was “What is a food you dislike?” and was answered by 27 members, four cloverbuds and two leaders. Last month’s minutes were read by secretary Natalynn Gulick and were approved as read.

Camden Wunderlich gave a historian’s report and let everyone know that the historians would meet during spring break to work on the book. Cort Decker gave the reporter’s report. Cody Johnson gave the treasurer’s report. C. Johnson also gave the council report.

In special committee reports, Annissa Boulanger shared that trophy money was due. Michelle Johnson shared that the club’s educational trip to the Eureka Library will be scheduled after school is let out for the summer.

In the leader’s reports, Shannon Rockhill reminded everyone that they needed to pick up Kansas Maid items when they came in. She also reminded everyone that the add/drop date is quickly approaching. Mica Coulter announced that the skit won Grand Champion at 4-H Days. Coulter also announced if anyone needed a ride to the next council meeting she would pick them up at Johnson Realty. 4-H Day camp will be May 16, for children ages 5-9.

In new business, Chason Gulick moved to donate $50 to the Safe Night After Prom, Clay Teter seconded.

Kolten Morten moved to help with the Senior Soup Social in May. Duke Coulter seconded.

Vice President Paiton Gravatt led the program for the evening. C. Gulick gave the parliamentarian tip.

Bryce Teter and Audrey Wallace led both clubs in singing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.” C. Johnson performed a reading titled “Neighbors” by Jeff Davidson. C. Teter and Brody Rockhill led both clubs in a game of dodgeball.

The Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club held their April meeting on April 7, at the Christ Lutheran Church.
