One Received Minor Injuries In Two-Vehicle Collision Last Friday

One individual received minor injuries last Friday, April 5, after being involved in a two-vehicle accident at the US400 Highway and K-99 south intersection, shortly after noon.

One individual received minor injuries last Friday, April 5, after being involved in a two-vehicle accident at the US400 Highway and K-99 south intersection, shortly after noon.

According to the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies along with Greenwood County EMS responded to a report of an injury accident, at approximately 12:16 p.m. last Friday.

Upon arrival, it was apparent that a 2013 Toyota Highlander, driven by James Shick Jr., 74, of Howard, failed to yield and was struck by a 2014 Ford U-Haul driven by Roy Johnson Jr., 23, of Wichita.

Shick was transported by ambulance to the Greenwood County Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Johnson Jr. was not injured in the accident.
