Club members Himes and Vandetta Mongeau planned the March meeting around the themes of Spring and Easter. The following musical selections were then performed by several of the club members: Rise Russin and Margaret Spires performed a piano duet of “Near the Cross.” Pat Surber gave a vocal performance of “The Green Cathedral” accompanied by Jean Edwards. Mary Ellen Forbes played and sang “They Called the Wind Mariah,” from the musical, “Paint Your Wagon.” Himes shared a piano solo of “Amazing Grace,” followed by Moody who performed two piano solos. The first was “In Christ Alone,” and the second was, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross.” The final performer was Marla DeGraffenreid who shared a piano solo of, “The Old Rugged Cross.”

Following the program, delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses.

Spires and Marilyn Seymour volunteered to plan the program for the April meeting, which had originally been scheduled for Guest Day. Himes and Mongeau will be cohostesses.
