On Saturday, March 23, Greenwood County 4-H members traveled to Madison to compete at Regional 4-H Club Days. After qualifying at the County 4-H Club Days on Feb. 12, youth had the chance to show off their public speaking skills, parliamentary knowledge, talents and demonstrated knowledge gained within theirprojects.Thecompeting counties at Regionals are Flint Hills District (Chase and Morris Counties), Lyon County, Greenwood County, Coffey County and the Rolling Prairie District (Elk and Chautauqua Counties).
Possible ribbon placings – Champion (C), Reserve Champion (RC), Blue (B), Red (R), White (W). Initials for 4-H clubs – Fancy Mustangs (FM), Fall River 55’ers (FR55), Harmony Sunflowers (HS), Madison Pacesetters (MPS), Racing Wranglers (RW), and Willow Valley Go-Getters (WVGG).
