Lloyd Leitzel was a very hard worker and was extremely passionate about the Eureka Archery Club. He was the first one to grab a target and take off walking to set it. He thoroughly enjoyed setting up the ranges and making the shots interesting. Sometimes, the club would have to throttle him back as he would try to make things too hard. One of Lloyd’s favorite things was to watch youth archers come to the range and shoot. He was the first one to always ask how their shoot went. Since his passing in 2021, the Eureka Archery Club has provided scholarships in Leitzel’s name.
