New rodeo stars will be born during the wild and crazy Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show” at Hamilton Gymnasium on Sunday, March 24. The event is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
It’s basketball played on real, live donkeys and it will be wild- er than a rodeo a n d funnier than a c i r - cus! All local players will be riding, so come out and see someone you may know try to ride a donkey and play basketball at the same time. This fun-filled show is sponsored by the freshman class of 2027 of Hamilton High School. Advanced tickets can be purchased from members of the class or by contacting Hamilton schools at 620-678-3651.
Tickets may also be purchased at the gate. Ticket prices are $10 in advance or $13 at the door. Students preschool and under are free. There will be a walking taco bar and concession stand along with free donkey rides at intermission!
The local celebrity teams will be: Game One: Eureka FFA vs. Madison FFA; Game Two: Hamilton Ag Club vs the Wise Wonders and; Game Three: will be the championship game of the two winners.
