It was another busy month for the Madison Pacesetters 4-H Club. The February meeting was full of member involvement, and many members found success in the annual Greenwood County Club Days.

Thirty members, two clover buds and two leaders attended the February meeting. Many members presented before the club. Members who gave project talks were Caylin Luthi (Market Meat Goat), Brynn Roth (Foods and Nutrition), John Curry (Woodworking), Kenyon Curry (Woodworking) and Lane Darbro and Hayden Helm gave a joint talk about the Leadership Project. Project talks are crucial to any 4-H meeting because they can inspire young members to discover new 4-H projects to try. Instead of project talks, younger members can give a show and share talk to start the development of their public speaking skills. Catherine Curry shared her favorite book with the club, and her sister, Reese Curry, talked about her favorite toy cow. Finally, Cohen Luthi shared a few tips for recovering from the flu during his Health and Environment talk.

Birthdays for February were Cohen Luthi and Wyatt Stack. An important date for the club is March 15, which was Beef Weigh-In and this was also the due date for the Madison Pacesetter Scholarship.
