Eureka Lady Tornado head basketball coach Shelly Hoyt was listed as one of the finalists by Sports in Kansas for the 2A Girls Coach of the Year.
Hoyt, who has been head coach in Eureka for seven years, has led the Lady Tornadoes to three state tournaments with three Sub-State Championship Titles and three Sub-State Runner-Up finishes. The Lady Tornadoes also won their seventh consecutive Tri-Valley League title, this year.
