Five Bulldogs of Madison and six West Elk Patriots were recently named to All-League selection teams for their efforts this season.
In the Lyon County League (LCL), three Lady Bulldogs and two Bulldog boys were named to special teams. Sophomore Jaelynn Weakley was named to the 1st team selection; junior Candice Ashlock was named to the 2nd team and sophomore Caylin Luthi was named to the honorable mention team. Madison boys named to special teams were junior Colton Isch, 2nd team and senior Lane Darbro, Honorable Mention. Others being named to the girls’ special teams included: 1st team, Kaylin Noonan, Burlingame; Saige Hadley and Audrey Peek, Lebo; and Katey Robert, Olpe; 2nd Team, Akyra Traver, MdCV; Milly Bailey and Lilly Skalsky, Olpe and Josie Romig, Waverly; Honorable Mention, Siara Crouch and Katie Ott, Lebo and Karley Ohl, SCC; Others being named to the boys’ special teams included: 1st team, Brecken McGuire and Blake Skalsky, Olpe; Zach Oswald and Grayson Shoemaker, Lebo and Drake Skirvin and Dane Winters, Burlingame; 2nd team, Ben Meehan, Waverly; Ethan Redeker, Olpe; Dominic Risner, Lebo and Coy Wilkinson, Hartford. In the South Central Border League (SCBL), six Patriots were named, three girls and three boys.Jaicey Tillapaugh and Makaila Gilespie were named to the 2nd team selection and Kodi Harshman was named to the Honorable Mention team. Patriot Maddex Moreno was named to the 1st Team selection and Uriah Tillapaugh and Martin Shipley were both named to the Honorable Mention team.
