Placed At 6U And Elementary State

Two Marshall Elementary students, in Eureka, will continue their wrestling season as they placed in the top five at the Kansas Heartland Duals Qualifier. Sixth graders Felix Neill and Adleigh Ray placed fourth and fifth, respectively, and will represent Eureka at the Kansas Heartland Duals later this month.

Two Marshall Elementary students, in Eureka, will continue their wrestling season as they placed in the top five at the Kansas Heartland Duals Qualifier. Sixth graders Felix Neill and Adleigh Ray placed fourth and fifth, respectively, and will represent Eureka at the Kansas Heartland Duals later this month.

At the six and under state tournament, Eureka’s Carson Eismann placed sixth.

Following are the individual match wins for Eureka Wrestling Club (EWC) members: Girls 107: Adleigh Ray placed 5th. She won by fall over Joslyn Vail (Raider Wrestling Club) (Fall 3:59); and won a 3-0 decision over Kinsey Fireoved (Bobcat Wrestling Club).

6U 49: Jad Day won a 6-3 decision over Kolter McMahan (Tiger Wrestling Club); won by fall over Emory Campbell (Pittsburg Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:21); and won by fall over Otis Collins (Mulvane Jr. Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:39) 6U 49: Maddox Ring won a 6-5 decision in sudden victory - 1 over Jasper Miller (Stockton Wrestling club); and won a 6-5 decision over Homer Thompson II (Team of Hard Knox).

6U 67: Carson Eismann placed 6th. He won by forfeit over Mason May (Linn County Twisters).

Elementary 112: Felix Neill placed 4th. He won by fall over James Melugin (Independence Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:35); and won by fall over Cit Wallace (Jr Panther Wrestling Club) (Fall 2:51).

Also representing EWC was Oaklyn Smith, 6U Girls 53-57.
