The Madison boys basketball team went 2-1 at the Rosalia-Flinthills 1ADI Sub-State last week to finish the tournament as the Runner- Up.
Madison defeated Yates Center, 58-17; Colony-Crest, 43-37; and fell to Olpe 35-44.
Lady Bulldogs went 1-1 at the tournament also defeating Yates Center, 62-21; and falling to Olpe, 34-37. The Eagles of Olpe went on to win the Sub-State Championship.
The West Elk Patriots competed in the 2A Cherokee-Southeast Sub-State. The Lady Patriots defeated Arma- Northeast, 36-32; but fell in the semifinals to Cherokee-Southeast, 32-39.
The Patriot boys fell in the opening round to Sedan, 41-61. Scoring for the Patriots were Maddex Moreno 18, Martin Shipley 14, Uriah Tillapaugh 5 and Kase Kill 4.
