Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies, but you can join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.
This month, the Eureka Public Library will host the following:
Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Party Come celebrate Dr. Seuss at the library on Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m.
There will be a story, games, art and Cat in the Hat will be there in person!
Babygarten Class
A six-week Babygarten class will begin on Thursday, March 7, at 5:30 p.m. These classes are free but there are only 12 spots available so pre-registration is required by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4. If more than 12 pre-register, a wait list will be started for future classes.
March Crafternoon
Join staff for the March Crafternoon event on Thursday, March 14, from 12-6 p.m. for a come-andgo activity. Those attending will have the chance to make their own rainbow windsock craft
Spring Break Story Hour
Celebrate Spring Break with story hour on Wednesday, March 13, at 4 p.m. Come read stories, create crafts and play games.
Spring Break Lego Day
Celebrate build with Legos at the library Friday, March 15, at 4 p.m. All designs built will be put on display in the children’s area of the library!
March Game Night
The monthly game night event will be held on Friday, March 22, from 6-9 p.m. The library has several dozen board games to choose from and attendees can also bring favorite board games from home. Snacks will be provided – just bring your game skills and be ready to compete and have fun with fellow game players. No pre-registration is required, just show up for the fun.
