To Represent Eureka At 3-1 State Wrestling

A Eureka freshman will represent the Tornadoes at his first state tournament this week. Tornado Mason Hughes placed fourth at the Eureka Regional and will join Lady Tornadoes Lyndsey Escareno and Makyla Gore in Salina this Thursday-Saturday for the state tournaments.
To Represent Eureka At 3-1 State Wrestling

A Eureka freshman will represent the Tornadoes at his first state tournament this week. Tornado Mason Hughes placed fourth at the Eureka Regional and will join Lady Tornadoes Lyndsey Escareno and Makyla Gore in Salina this Thursday-Saturday for the state tournaments.

Hughes claimed hardware in the 106-pound weight class. He will face Tate Blackwill (32-5) of WaKeeney- Trego Community/ Quinter in the opening round on Thursday, which begins for 3-1A Boys at 5:15 p.m.

The Lady Tornadoes will begin action on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

A special state caravan will be held on Wednesday, Feb.

Also representing the Tornadoes at the Eureka Regional were seniors Paiton Gravatt and Trayton Carl Biering and junior Kadin Deshane.
