Applications are now being accepted for the Barbara Robison Nicholas scholarship, given through the Greenwood County Historical Society. This is a $300 scholarship available to any high school senior that lives in Greenwood County. The scholarship is open to seniors attending public school or home school.
Barb was an active member of the Historical Society, holding several offices on the board through the many years of her involvement and writing articles about the history of Greenwood County which were published in The Eureka Herald weekly.
Applications have been sent to the school guidance counselors of the county high schools. They may also be accessed on the Greenwood County Historical Society website homepage at gwhistory. com or picked up at the museum Monday – Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
