Eureka Tornado football hosted their second game of the season and came away with a 12-6 victory last Friday.
The Tornadoes, now 1-1, scored two touchdowns in the first half, one in each quarter. In the first, Tornado quarterback, sophomore Peyton Hare, connected with senior Lyle Perrier.
The PAT was unsuccessful.
In the second, the Tornadoes were put in great field position after a run by senior Wylee Boulanger that gave the Tornadoes a first down and placed the ball at the 3-yard line.
Hare ran up the middle for the second touchdown of the game. The conversion attempt was not-successful and the Tornadoes lead 12-0 at halftime. Neodesha scored in the second half but ran out of time, as the Tornadoes intercepted a pass late in the fourth quarter.
Eureka will travel to Caney this Friday.
