The Patriots of West Elk move to week 3 with a 2-0 record after they defeated Oxford, 56-6 last Friday night.
West Elk scored on two runs by Creyo Koop, in the first quarter, to lead 14-6 going into the second quarter. Koop scored on a 24-yard and 51-yard rush. He also scored on one of the twopoint conversion attempts.
In the second quarter, the Patriots put up 28 unanswered points, with a 53-yard yard run by Maddex Moreno, a 4-yard pass from Trent Haag to Moreno, a 5-yard run by Koop (with Koop running in the conversion attempt) and a 53-yard rush by Koop (with the twopoint conversion attempt being good from Haag to Garett Usry).
West Elk went on to score 14-points in the third, with a 4-yard run by Koop and a 1-yard run by Moreno. The first two-point conversion attempt was successful by Koop.
