The Madison boys basketball team hosted the Wildcats of Northern Heights last Friday, Feb. 2, for the Bulldogs Winter Royalty event.
Madison opened up the first quarter with three Bulldogs tallying baskets to put Madison up 11-3 after the first quarter.
The second quarter was a little slower for the Bulldogs offensively; but, Madison extended their lead and was up 19-9 at the intermission.
Madison returned from the break and had their best quarter, on both sides of the court. The team tallied 13 points and held the Wildcats to zero points in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs once again outscored Northern Heights in the fourth quarter and clinched their victory, 4314. Scoring for Madison were Colton Isch 17, Octavian Dean 10, Gannon Pyle and Lane Darbro each with 6 and Cohen Luthi 4.

Madison was slated to travel to West Franklin on Tuesday of this week before hosting Chase County on Friday, Feb. 13; Lyndon on Feb. 16 and Wichita Home School on Feb. 19, before competing in the Rosalia Sub-State tournament Feb. 22-March 2.
