Several area wrestlers traveled to Mulvane over the weekend for the Battle of the Belt tournament.

12U Boys 110: Tate Scott placed 6th. He won by fall over Flint Scherman (Oz Trojan Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:42); won a 6-2 decision over Kale Ballard (Team Haysville Wrestling Club); and won by fall over Kortney Akpan (RSA) (Fall 1:10).

12U 96: Tate Scott won by fall over Gage Epp (Hoxie Kids Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:15); and won by fall over Aleki Johnson (Jackson County Wrestling) (Fall 0:55).
