The Lady Bulldogs of Madison hosted the Northern Heights Wildcats last Friday night for their winter royalty event, where the Lady Bulldogs claimed the win, 65-42.
Madison opened the game in dominating form, outscoring the Wildcats, 23-5. The Lady Bulldogs weren’t as hot at the basket in the second, but held on to their lead at halftime, 34-20.
Lady Bulldog’s Jalynn Weakley lead Madison in the third quarter, tallying 12 of Madison’s 18 points in that quarter. The Bulldogs allowed 7 points and led 52- 27 with one quarter remaining in regulation. Madison went on to win the game 65-42. Scoring for the Tornadoes were Weakley 24, Candice Ashlock 15,Caylin Luthi and Sadie Albert 8 each, Jeanna Thomsen and Lily Hudson each with 3 and Kara White and Bayleigh Benjamin 2 each.

Madison was slated to travel to West Franklin on Tuesday of this week before hosting Chase County on Friday, Feb. 13; Lyndon on Feb. 16 and Wichita Home School on Feb. 19, before competing in the Rosalia Sub-State tournament Feb. 22-March 2.
