Claimed 100th Career Win

Lady Tornado senior Lyndsey Escareno went 3-0 on Saturday, Jan. 27, to place first at the Titan Invitational, at Wichita South, and earned her 100th career win. She currently has a 100-23 overall record and is currently ranked fourth in the 140-pound weight class by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association. Escareno is the first lady Tornado to reach the milestone. Of the 100 wins, Escareno claimed 87 by fall.

Lady Tornado senior Lyndsey Escareno went 3-0 on Saturday, Jan. 27, to place first at the Titan Invitational, at Wichita South, and earned her 100th career win. When asked what she loved most about the sport, Escareno referenced the camaraderie, competition and challenging aspects of wrestling. She also noted the need of setting self goals and the work ethic needed to be successful.
