How would you “identify “ our community?
We’ve been asked this question and our answer is “how would YOU?”
The truth is that all of you are part of our identity. Your hopes and dreams for the future of Eureka are our hopes and dreams too. While we are CONSTANTLY working in the background to move Eureka in a positive direction, it is up to you to put some work in too. We CANNOT do this on our own.
We know it’s a nice thought that you share your ideas with someone that is working on city projects and move on with your lives, but in all honesty it’s up to you to see that dream
through. We don’t have the manpower to keep the city running and work on your dreams too, unfortunately, but you do! And our magic wand doesn’t seem to be working :( Bite the bullet and make something happen! Come to a Myreka meeting or a community meeting and find others with like dreams and team up to accomplish them together.
We are all in this boat together - it’s time to grab a paddle.
Myreka meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at noon at memorial hall. Hope to see you there.
