Kids sports.
What an awesome way to get your kids active, learn to work as a team and learn how to play a game they can enjoy for a lifetime - whether on the court/field or in the stands, sports are a lifetime of enjoyment.
That brings us to coaches. Bless the coaches that volunteer their time to teach the kids, schedule practices, cheer the teams on and put effort and love into YOUR child. What a gift that is! The old saying, ‘it takes a village,’ has coaches written all over it.
Be thankful to those individuals for stepping up and for caring for your child and helping them to grow as both an athlete and a person.
More than likely, you don’t think they are perfect (spoiler alert, none of us are) and they aren’t coaching the way you would which is a perfect reason to sign up to do it yourself next time, or give grace and gratitude that someone did.
