A special meeting of the Eureka City Council was held on Wednesday, Jan. 17 for interview of an applicant for the City Administrator position.
After opening the meeting last Wednesday evening, council members entered into a thirty-minute executive session, with Clerk Renee Burk and Joel Laws in attendance.
Following the return to regular session, an additional 10 minutes were taken. At the conclusion of the session, Laws exited the meeting.
An executive session for the duration of five minutes, with the council and Burk remaining, was held. No action was taken following the session.
Councilman Jason Brandt appeared via phone conference and councilman Richard Drake was absent.
Applicant interviews will continue this week on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 5 p.m.
