The Madison Bulldogs basketball team are set to compete in the Lyon County League (LCL) Basketball Tournament this week at the White Auditorium, in Emporia.
The Lady Bulldogs are seeded #3 and are set to face Hartford, #6, on Tuesday of this week at 4 p.m. The winner will advance to the championship semifinals and face the winner of the Lebo #2 vs Waverly #7, on Friday at 4 p.m. The losing teams will battle on Thursday, at 4 p.m. The championship game is slated for Saturday at 6 p.m.
In the boys’ division, the Madison Bulldogs are seeded #4. They will face Hartford, #5, on Wednesday, at 5:30 p.m. The winner will advance to the championship semifinals and face the winner of the Olpe #1 vs SCC #8 game on Friday, Jan. 26 at 8:30 p.m. The losing teams will battle on Thursday, at 8:30 p.m. The boys championship game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Last week, the Bulldogs faced Hartford and SCC. Madison men defeated SCC 75-12 and Hartford 51-20. The Lady Bulldogs also defeated Hartford, 36-17 and SCC, 54-18.
