The Community Benefit Women’s Educational Club (WEC), Greenwood County, held their monthly meeting at the Eureka United Methodist Church, at noon on Jan. 18. Hostess was Cindy Knotts. Roll call was answered by 15 members sharing a favorite winter activity.
It was voted to increase their annual donations to the Eureka Public Library, Greenwood County 4-H, Greenwood Historical Society and Piedmont Recreation Center. The group raises funds at the Ice Cream Social and Auction which is held each year at the Piedmont Community Center.
The program was presented by Genell Garner who shared information about massage therapy. She demonstrated different techniques that could be used to manage a health condition or enhance wellness.
The next meeting will be Feb. 15, 12 p.m., at the Eureka United Methodist Church. Guests are welcome.
